Where do I take my Riide Tiime Bike for repairs?

If it is for general wear and tear on your Riide Tiime e-bike, you can take it to any local bike store for repairs. If there is an issue with any parts on the bike please get in contact with us and if it is found to be a manufacturing issue, it will be covered under warranty during the warranty period.

 

Where do I buy spare parts for my Riide Tiime Bike?

You can purchase spare parts and accessories on our website. If there is anything you can’t find, please get in contact with us and we can send you in the right direction.

How do I become a Riide Tiime Dealer or Distributor?

Product Information

What is the law on electric bikes in Australia?

On February 2023, the government gave recognition to the NSW Minister for Metropolitan Roads for amending the Road Transport Act 2013’s provisions limiting the maximum power of e-bike motors permitted on public roads. The permissible level of continuous running power was increased from 250 watts to 500 watts by the Road Transport Legislation Amendment (Electric Skateboards and Bicycles) Regulation 2023.

All our bikes come speed restricted to 25km per hour (200watts) which meet the Australian regulations for electric power assisted bikes. Each state has slightly different requirements in regards to what defines an e-bike (EPAC). We do encourage all our customers to check their local state laws as these are updated regularly. Our bikes come fitted with a throttle and isolator which means they can be turned on for private property use or off to meet local regulations. Our bike models can be speed unlocked for private use only once compliance has been signed.

Do I have to register my e-Bike?

No - current laws state electric bikes do not need to be registered and can be used as a normal bicycle. They do have to be sold speed restricted to 25kmh and all riders must follow local road rules in the same manner as a regular bicycle rider. However, e-bike laws are constantly changing so please stay up to date on your local e-bike laws.

 

How fast is a Riide Tiime Bike?

Riide Tiime e-bikes are restricted to 25kmh to meet public speed limit regulations, however can be unlocked to 50kmh for use on private property only.

 

What is the range on Riide Tiime Bikes and how long will my battery last?

The range is approximately 50km-100km using pedal assist and the battery has a life span of 1000 charges. This varies between models, please check the specifications for each model.

 

Do you offer footpegs for passenger riders?

Riide Tiime e-bikes come with footpegs included.

 

Do you have a height and weight recommendation for Riide Tiime e-bikes?

No height restrictions. Our bikes can carry up to 180kg maximum. The rear shock comes factory set to 160kg however this can be adjusted to suit the weight required. For more information, please contact us.

How much does a Riide Tiime e-bike weigh?

Our bikes range between 38kg & 46kg.

 

Are Riide Tiime bikes water resistant?

Yes, our e-bikes are designed to be water-resistant, making them suitable for riding in light rain and through puddles. However, we recommend avoiding submerging the bike or exposing it to heavy, prolonged water exposure to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

How do I clean my Riide Tiime bike?

To clean your e-bike, turn it off and remove the battery. Use a soft cloth and mild soapy water to wipe down the frame and avoid high-pressure sprays. Clean the chain with a degreaser, rinse gently, dry thoroughly, and apply lubricant to moving parts. Avoid harsh chemicals or submerging the bike.

Do e-bikes require maintenance? 

Yes, they require one service per year or 500km, whichever comes first.

Shipping & Delivery

When will my order ship?

Riide Tiime Biikes are shipped daily from our factory, unless on pre-order due to high demand.

Do you offer express shipping or delivery?

Not at this time as these are a bulky item. Speak to our team if you would like to arrange your own express shipping to pick up directly from our factory.

 

Do you offer in-store order pick-ups? 

Yes, if ordered from one of our stockists. You can also arrange with our customer service team to pick up directly from our factory.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

 

When will I receive my item?

Metro delivery for East Coast areas is between 7-10 days. Regional delivery areas are approx 10-14 days. These shipping times are estimates only and are subject to change without notice. For further information, please contact our team at yo@riidetiime.com

Do heavy items still qualify for Free Shipping?

Yes, however this only applies to Metro areas on the East Coast of Australia.

I live in a rural area, is there a surcharge for delivery?

Please contact us directly to calculate your shipping. Shipping cost varies for areas across Australia.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

No, as most of our products are bulky items and will need to be signed for.

Orders, Returns & Cancellation Policy

What is your returns policy?

Returns within 7 days in original unopened packaging at customers’ expense will qualify for a full refund. Please see our returns policy for full terms at www.riidetiime.com. Shipping costs will be at the expense of the customer.

 

How can I return my item?

Please contact us at yo@riidetiime.com to complete a returns form. You will need to use one of our trusted couriers for oversized returns to ensure no damage along with a completed returns form.

I just placed an order but would like to add another product, is this possible? 

Yes, if your order has not been dispatched we can add additional items to your order. However, if your initial order has already been shipped we will send out two separate orders and your second order may be subject to delivery costs. Please contact our customer service team if you would like to add additional items to your order. Additional items must be in stock.

 

How can I cancel my order? 

Cancellation requests for in-stock bike orders must be submitted within 24 hours of the order confirmation at no penalty. Cancellation requests submitted after the first 24 hours will be subject to delivery costs.

 

Nation Wide Warranty

What is your warranty period?

Our warranty period is 2 years or 10,000kms on all parts and electrical components. Please see our product warranty page for more information.

 

Does the warranty transfer when I sell my e-bike if still within the warranty period? 

Yes – be sure to register your bike for warranty on our website upon first receiving your Riide Tiime bike to ensure any claims are tracked and covered.

I have had a flat tire, is it covered under warranty?

No, as flat tyres are caused by wear and tear. We can however assist you with replacement tyres and tubes. Please contact us if you would like to order spare parts.
