Product Warranty
Should any original component prove defective in terms of workmanship within its warranty period, we will repair or replace it. The warranty period for all Riide Tiime Customs bikes is as follows:
Frame: 2 years or 10,000kms
Electrical Components: 2 years or 10,000kms
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damages caused by improper assembly, faults resulting from an accident, improper or insufficient maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to an accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence. Modification of the frame or components shall void this warranty. The warranty only covers part replacement and does not cover labour and transportation charges.
Warranty will be void if the bicycle is used for other than normal activities, including but not limited to failing to follow the owner’s manual or using the bike for commercial activities. Tyre punctures are not covered under warranty. The Warrantor may seek reimbursement of any costs and expenses incurred if the product is found not to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. The company shall in no event be responsible for consequential, special, or cause-and-effect damages.
This warranty is limited to repairing or replacing the defective part(s) free of charge. It does not include labour and transportation charges. Delivery of the defective product or parts for repair or replacement to and from our service centre, and third-party service charges (e.g., charges for installing the replacement part in a third-party bike store), are the customer’s responsibility.
A bicycle is a vehicle exposed to various conditions, including unwanted impacts, shocks, vibrations, extreme temperatures, water penetration, and salt splash, which may cause damage not considered a manufacturing fault. Such damage is not covered under warranty. Your electric bike and its components are water-resistant under normal damp or wet conditions but not waterproof. It can be ridden in mild or moderate rain but should not be submerged in water or ridden in heavy rain. The bike should not be washed with a water hose; instead, clean it with a damp cloth. Failure of parts due to liquid penetration is not covered under warranty.
As part of the assembly process, some parts, including brakes and derailleur adjustments, might need adjustment due to potential movements during shipment. Instructions on these adjustments are available on our website. Failure to assemble or adjust the bike properly is not covered under warranty. If you hire a third-party technician (e.g., a bike shop) for assembly or adjustments, any incurred fees will not be covered under our warranty. In rare cases, scratches may appear on the bike paint job due to part movement during shipment. We will provide a small sample of your bike’s colour for touch-ups. Replacement requests due to cosmetic scratches cannot be accepted.
If a warranty extension is offered, you may purchase it and be covered under the same terms and conditions. Extensions must be applied for up to seven (7) days before the standard warranty period expires. Our warranty terms and conditions apply to all customers purchasing directly, through dealers, or second-hand. The benefits of this Product Warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
